Loving the Smokai. Already tried roast pork and a boned leg of lamb. So easy to use and store away.
I've been smoking meat for 40+ years which started when an apprentice butcher in New Zealand. I've been out of the trade for 30 years, the Attaching the Smokai to a Weber Q BBQ is a game changer. I'm achieving results that we did in the old fashion smoking methods that we used in the trade back in the 1980's. The ability to cold smoke and then finish your meat / Fish/ cheese is fantastic! Not to mention the control one has on the level of smoke applied. Great piece of kit, which will last forever.

Very easy to adapt the Smokai to use on Weber Q. Very satisfied.
I have been using the Smokai smoke generator in my Masterbuilt Smoker with amazing results. I only got the smaller unit so I could use on my Weber Q. Will probably never use it for that after the results with Chicken and Fish so far. I have been using Manuka that is 20+ years old, cut in various sizes, mixing it with some newer wood on the last use. I wish I had got the bigger unit as the wood doesn't last as long as information suggested even turned right down low, just so I don't have to top up about every hour. But overall very happy and would thoroughly recommend one.
Thanks for your feedback Peter. We document the maximum smoking time on one load - the maximum time is based on using BBQ hardwood pellets and running the pump on low speed. Woodchip will burn quicker than hardwood pellets.

We attached the smoker to our Webber without any issues. Great little helping detail! Saves yout time and nerves.
