Like all Smokai® smoke generators, the Monster features the Smokai-Modular-System™ which is a mount based system. What this means is that the mount has been built into the product. You don’t need anything else, other than to drill a 4cm (1.6inch) hole into the side of your chosen chamber and attach the smoke generator with just two bolts that are suppled.
The Smokai-Modular-System™ also makes assembly, disassembly, ash disposal and cleaning super quick and easy. The precision engineered, heavy duty modular components lock together firmly in seconds.
Once you’ve mounted it to your preferred Smoking chamber, you can start smoking. It’s really easy.
STEP 1 - Fill the hopper with you preferred woodchip or hardwood pellets.
STEP 2 - Turn on the Pump to high speed
STEP 3 - Light with a match and watch in amazement for a few minutes (there will be a ludicrous volume of smoke)
STEP 4 - Crack open a beer and adjust to your preferred smoke volume

This thing works really great
Excellent. I expected a long delay as I live in the US and this product has a long swim to get here.....it just took a few days! I purchased the Smokai to help with luke-warm, cold and even normal smoking. My smoker was having a hard time adjusting down to 165F which is where I like to smoke salmon/steelhead. I added the Smokai to the back of my grill and the problem is solved. Since my smoker has a fan to assist pellet burn, I find I have to just crack the main door ajar to create the perfect atmosphere for the Smokai. My first batch of fish smoked in 4 hours to an internal temp of 140F--let the sit in the smoker for 1 hour with no heat-just smoke--it is perfect; moist, very smokey flavored an beautiful color!!!! I did raise the smoke temperature to 180 and cut way down on the time. finish product is even better than expected!!
Have not had a chance to use the unit yet but the quality and design looks great. defiantly get what you pay for. Very happy. Thanks guys
Excellent quality and it puts out good clean Smoke. Highly recommend it if you want high quality construction and ease of installation. I have tried others. Wish I would have bought this first.

For coming all the way from New Zealand shipping was quick. I drilled the holes and had Smokai mounted and ready for meat in about 1/2 an morning. This is still my 1st day with Smokai but the dried venison is looking delicious already and all I've had to do is monitor my temperature Smokai takes care of the smoking.
