Think of your shed as a large smokehouse, whether made of metal, wood, brick or cinderblock.
If no longer used to store tools and other household items, a shed, when combined with a Smokai Smoke Generator can make a great cold smoker. Of course you need to think about what has been stored in your shed in the past to ensure it is safe to use as a cold smoke house.
MOUNTING TO YOUR SHED
All Smokai Smoke Generators feature the Smokai-Modular-System™. This is a mount based system, meaning the mount has been built into the product. It also makes assembly, disassembly, ash disposal and cleaning super quick and easy. The precision engineered, heavy duty modular components lock together firmly in seconds.
To mount your Smoke Generator to a suitable shed, simply drill a hole* through a wall at the bottom of your shed and attach the smoke generator with the two bolts suppled. We also recommend installing a vent or two to ensure you have airflow passing through the shed.
*Hole Diameters Required:
Smokai Bullet and Classic Smoke Generators: 20mm (0.8“)
Smokai Magnum and Monster Smoke Generators: 40mm (1.6“)
Smokai Magnum and Monster Smoke Generators are the perfect match for your shed.
