    Schnelle Montage mit dem Smokai-Modular-System™

    Wie alle anderen Smokai-Rauchgeneratoren ist der Classic ein Mount-basiertes System. Dies bedeutet, dass die Halterung in das Produkt eingebaut wurde.       Designed to Keep-On-Smoking™ for up to 12* hours, the Smokai Classic makes cold smoking a breeze and can supply a controllable volume of quality, fresh wood smoke when hot smoking (a separate heat source is required when hot smoking).

      The variable speed air pump gives you control of the smoke volume ensuring you don’t over smoke your food which is often the case with other smoking systems.

      Fresh wood is gravity fed to the burn with ash settling on the base, ready to quickly empty after your smoke.

      * Smoking time is dependent on the wood fuel type (chip, pellets), variety (hickory, maple, etc), pump speed and the ambient atmosphere.

      Awesome smoker, worth every penny

      Works as advertised. Very easy to light, provides great amount of smoke for a long time using hardwood pellets. Way more efficient than using smoking tubes. Check with the manufacturer if it works with the rotisserie attachment on your grill. Did not work with my Napoleon grill but I was able to improvise and make it work. Not the cheapest out there but definitely WORTH EVERY PENNY. Will definitely recommend it!!!

      Smoking on a gas grill part 2

      I double-smoked some rainbow trout. First I cold smoked them for 30 minutes then lit one burner on the propane grill on low and continued smoking for an hour until the fish was done. Worked like a charm!

      I put the 1 liter classic on my pellet grill. Since then I smoked chicken and cold smoked cheese. Works great, very happy.

      Smoking on a gas grill

      So far the Smokai worked great. I smoked a prime tri-tip roast for a couple of hours and used pecan chips. I could have continued for a couple more hours but it was time to eat!

      Great smoker

      Absolutely love this smoker. Perfect size for my small 4 bar BBQ. So far I have cold smoked cheese, and some mackerel. Both were fantastic but I might be a bit biased! Hot smoked some pork ribs and again perfect. Going to be well used.

      Tried right away - Brilliant

      Despite recommendations that you cold smoke fat fish only, I was out for a fish the day after I received the smokai and got some snapper. Brined, dried and cold smoked 10-15 mm fillets for 3 hours and they turned out perfect! Next, slow smoked a deboned leg of lamb while barbequeing it, again, perfect. This will be used a lot. Great buy!
